Humour de pierre

The Centre des monuments nationaux invites you to discover the exhibition "Humour de pierre", presented at the Château d'If. Through a dozen black and white photographs taken in the early 1990s, photographer Hugues de Wurstemberger offers you a look full of tenderness and irony at the visitors to the monument.

With their unusual postures and peculiar attitudes, these everyday scenes, captured against a backdrop of stone and sea, reveal all the charm and humanity of shared moments - a photographic stroll imbued withhumour, poetry and lightness!
